Elyssa Ng

Elyssa is an Associate in the Intellectual Property and Intangible Assets team. Her interest in IP grew from its unique position at the intersection of law, creativity, innovation and commercial strategy. She is driven by the opportunity to help clients unlock the value of their intangible assets and turn ideas into meaningful business outcomes.

She advises a diverse range of clients across industries on brand protection, IP commercialisation, portfolio management and disputes. Elyssa has also supported matters involving technology, privacy and licensing, and contributed to regional policy initiatives, including shaping the national IP strategy for a Southeast Asian country. She brings a thoughtful, analytical approach to each brief, with a strong focus on aligning legal solutions with practical commercial needs.

Outside of practice, Elyssa is always looking for her next adventure. She is an avid backpacker who enjoys getting lost in new cities, tackling long-distance trails and collecting stories from the people she meets along the way. When she is not planning a trip, she unwinds with science-fiction novels that spark her curiosity about future worlds and emerging ideas, a habit that mirrors the sense of exploration she brings to her work.
