Justin Hoo

Justin is an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore and an associate in the Funds & Financial Regulations Practice at CHP.

Justin graduated from Singapore Management University with a LL.B in law (magna cum laude). He started his career with a reputable large local firm, specialising in private fund formation, financial services regulatory, family offices, private wealth, private trusts, asset management and general corporate and commercial matters.

By tapping into his experience with the asset management sector, Justin advises clients on the formation, structuring, and operation of private funds, as well as ensuring compliance with the relevant laws and regulations in Singapore. He also has a keen interest in privacy, technology and artificial intelligence, recognising its capability to disrupt the market and transform our future.

Outside of legal practice, Justin remains tuned into global issues including financial markets. He reads on a diverse range of topics such as finance, technology, data privacy, artificial intelligence, philosophy and psychology. He also enjoys physical activities such as cycling, table tennis, and enjoys scuba diving and snowboarding.
