Nathanael Lopez

Nathanael is a Senior Associate in the Corporate & Commercial Practice at CHP Law, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, corporate investments, and transactional matters.

He advises clients across the full life cycle of a transaction, from due diligence and deal structuring through to the negotiation of definitive agreements and completion, with a particular facility for deals involving regulated entities and cross-border considerations.

Nathanael graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the Singapore Management University (SMU), where he was placed on the Dean’s List (2021). He also completed a second major in Finance, a grounding that informs his commercial approach to transactional work and lends him a ready fluency with the financial dimensions of a deal. His keen interest in insolvency and restructuring law saw him represent SMU at the Ian Fletcher International Insolvency Law Moot, where his team reached the semi-finals and was awarded Best Written Memorial.

Outside of work, Nathanael is an avid road cyclist, though he will happily admit the promise of a well-earned pint afterwards does much of the pedalling.
