Rachel is a Singapore-qualified legal associate specialising in dispute resolution. Rachel graduated in 2024 from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB),Second Class Honours (Upper), where she was also conferred the M. Sornarajah Prize in International Law. She received a Distinction in the Private Client Practice module of the Singapore Institute of Legal Education (SILE) Part B course and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2026.
Rachel has assisted clients in abroad range of contentious disputes matters, including employment matters, protection from harassment disputes, and other contractual and commercial disputes.
Prior to joining CHP, Rachel completed her practice training contract, during which she assisted in disputes at various stages of proceedings, including pre-litigation advice, pleadings, interlocutory applications, hearings, and appeals. Her training experience included tenancy disputes, protection from harassment proceedings, defamation claims, joint venture disputes, disputes concerning companies and directors duties, shareholder and minority oppression disputes, and third-party claims to matrimonial assets.
Rachel’s training also saw her gain experience in a range of corporate and commercial matters, assisting with data privacy agreements, licensing agreements, independent contractor agreements, and other commercial advisory work. She has further assisted in various family law matters, including both simplified and contentious divorces.
Outside of practice, Rachel enjoys pursuing a variety of interests, from dialling in a new bag of coffee beans, and exploring hole-in-the-wall cafes, to playing tennis. She is also an avid learner of the Thai culture and language, and holds an Advanced Certificate of Proficiency in Thai from the National University of Singapore's Centre for Language Studies, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
