Growing up with 4 siblings, Youliang had to develop his voice early – and often. Spending his formative years arguing about everything (from custody of the TV remote to who really started it), a career in disputes only seemed natural.
Since being called to the Bar, Youliang tells his friends that he hopes that they will never need his services (but if they ever do, he will be right in their corner). Now more than half a decade in, Youliang has advised and acted for clients on a broad range of civil and commercial litigation matters and has appeared before all levels of the Singapore courts.
Armed with an LLB from the University of Manchester and an LLM in International Financial Law from King’s College London, Youliang specialises in complex commercial disputes, with a particular focus on shareholder and corporate disputes. Clients appreciate his calm presence, sharp issue-spotting, and instinct for navigating through high-stakes crises with empathy and clarity.
Outside of the office, Youliang spends his time wishing Manchester United back to their glory days, playing football and trying to keep up with his 1-year-old Samoyed as she chases after wild chickens at Pasir Ris Park.
